9/07/09 The final night for the final 2 riders on the 2009 Freedom Challenge! This is Day 25 of the 2300km mountain bike ride from Pietermaritzburg to Wellington. It is an extreme challenge and we have been extremely challenged within our hearts, minds, and bodies to get to this point. But here we are, on the brink of the final challenge - tomorrow we go up Stettynskloof wiht our bikes and then over to Du Toitskloof and down to Diemersfontein - where our much loved ones await! So thank you for your hospitality on our final night if this remarkable experience.

10/04/09 An excellent, well managed cottage, yet simple and earthy of days and generations past. a reminder of simple living and God's creation. Well done for all your hard work and creating a haven surrounded by our Creator's hand. Psalm 139 - I praise you for you are fearfully and wonderfully made. Our 5 year old daughter, loved collecting acorns, Dad and Mom enjoyed it too. She learnt to count rows of 10x acorns addin 10 x10 = 100 acorns. We all had a wonderful time to reflect, restore and refresh. Much appreciated. PS. Bravo!

27/03/09 I had to have my arm twisted to come...and WOW am I glad - what an awesome setting. Looking through the book it obviously brings out the creative side of a person but for myself I found it extremely healing. 10/03/09 Baie dankie vir 'n fantastiese wegbreek plekkie soos Oom Tom. Ons het baie lekker gerus, die natuur geniet, geswem en 'n vis gevang! Sal definitief weer terugkom. Oom Tom was baie lekker vir ons twee, maar sal weer wil met vriende by Paul en Rina of by Kamp 3 kom kuier, om die natuur vir hulle te kom wys en te deel. Baie dankie vir jul gasvryheid, die bottel wyn was regtig 'n "surprise"!

18/04/09 Liewe Ernst en Anchen Baie baie dankie vir 'n ongelooflike naweek. Al die moeite Vrydag aand se partytjie word vreeslik waardeer. Dan die troue. Dit was absoluut fantasties. Alles het asemrowend gelyk! Die kos heerlik! Al die klein dingetjies wat so mooi in plek was. Ons kon nie vir 'n beter "venue" gevra het nie. almal was mal oor die huisies. En elke liewe gas sê dat dit die mooiste troue was waar hulle nog was. Julle en julle spas was uitstekend. Baie dankie

01/01/09 Die Knoetze gesin bedank weer eens Dwarsberg vir 'n genotvolle verblyf. Die 4 dae het so gou verby gegaan en elke oomblik was geniet. Die visvang was goed. Klomp klein bass in die rivier voor die huisies, en goeie trout op beat 2 maar terrein baie moeilik op plekke. Sien julle weer xx
